African Drum 

The origin of the drum is African, dating back to prehistory. The drum made its way to Europe through the migrations of Africans and Moors to Europe.

The African drum was a symbol of supernatural power, and it continues to be so. For this reason, every clan or tribal chief has one. The regal drum is a typical institution of Black Africa. To build the drum for a new king, one must sometimes perform sacred rituals and even feed them with the blood of a decapitated person, in ancient times from a defeated enemy or a slave; nowadays with the blood of a strong bull.
